Rosemary & Lemon Grilled Halibut

This ones pretty simple. Salt & pepper, olive oil, lemon, white wine, halibut steaks, and rosemary. That’s rosemary fresh from my garden! The asparagus was grilled as a side veggie. Keep reading for an awesome tip on grilling your asparagus!

Lets Live Yall Grilled Halibut marinating.jpgOkay back to the food…mix the white wine, olive oil, lemon, rosemary and salt & pepper. Add your fish in there. Marinate for an hour, flip the fish half way through.

Lets Live Yall Grilled Asparagus grilling.jpgHere’s a little tip on grilling asparagus – use two skewers! This solves the problem of making sure they don’t fall through the grates and its so easy to just flip them over!

Rosemary & Lemon Grilled Halibut

Ingredients

3 tablespoons dry white wine
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon chopped rosemary
Four halibut steaks, (6 ounces each)
Salt and freshly ground pepper

Directions

  1. Whisk together the wine, lemon juice, olive oil and rosemary in a small shallow baking dish. Add the halibut and turn to coat.
  2. Marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour, turning once. Preheat grill.
  3. Remove fish from marinade and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Grill the steaks for 3 to 4 minutes on each side or to desired doneness.
